Are you regulated and do you belong to any governing bodies?
Physiotherapists by law have to be registered with the HCPC who ensure all registrants meet their strict professional standards. This protects the public who can check they are being seen by a fully qualified and registered health care professional.
We are also all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy meaning that us and our clinic is fully insured, and we are committed to providing our patients with a high quality service.
What can I expect to happen during my session?
We will thoroughly assess you and give you a detailed explanation of our findings so that you fully understand your problem. We will give you clear advice and guidance to ensure you make the fastest recovery possible. We offer a range of treatments which may be used during your recovery and you will be given a tailored exercise programme as part of your treatment package. At Ed Kirby physiotherapy we are able to use advanced clinical diagnostics and treatments if needed.

The Harlow Arena has a free car park and has allocated spaces for those attending Ed Kirby Physio.

Our clinic room is on the first floor, but there is a lift. There is also a café on site.

Can I use my medical or health insurance?
Yes we are recognised by all major insurers. We require your policy number and authorisation code to commence treatment. Please check if you have an excess on your policy as you are liable to pay this.
Do you have a sports massage therapist?

We recommend having an assessment session with a physiotherapist before embarking on any treatment to ensure the treatment chosen is correct for you. At Ed Kirby Physio we use soft tissue therapy, including sports massage, as part of our treatments. However, if you would like a dedicated sports massage session, we highly recommend Rick Pearson:
