Meet The Team

Ed Kirby

The most qualified physio in the area with a vast breadth of experience including a Bsc and an Msc in advanced physiotherapy, a postgraduate diploma in injection therapy and one of the region’s only prescribing physiotherapists. This is combined with almost twenty years experience in all ranges of physiotherapy from professional football to clinical leadership within the NHS. When not in clinic, Ed is an active member of Bishop’s Stortford Squash Club, he enjoys a social round of golf and is also a football manager for Bishop’s Stortford Community Football Club. His most favourite hobby is spending time with his two sons.

Louisa Kirby

Louisa is a highly experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist. She has completed Msc modules in injection therapy and advanced clinical assessment and works as an advanced practice physio within the NHS. She is trained in clinical Pilates and acupuncture which she uses regularly in her treatment sessions. She is very experienced in joint and soft tissue pain and treating chronic and complex pain.
When not in clinic, Louisa enjoys running and yoga and is tentatively learning golf. Her favourite hobby is spending time with her friends and family.

Sarah Tyler

Sarah is a highly experienced women’s health physiotherapist, with an MSc in Physiotherapy.
Sarah started working in women’s health in 2013 for the NHS and it quickly became her passion and hobby. She has attended over fifteen postgraduate courses in this speciality and is trained in vaginal assessments, ano-rectal assessments and pelvic organ prolapses. She has also undertaken training in diastasis recti management as well as bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction.
Sarah is a certified Mummy MOT practitioner and trained in clinical Pilates, which she incorporates into her postnatal rehabilitation. Sarah also works as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the NHS, where she teaches Pilates in conjunction with her private work at Ed Kirby Physiotherapy.
When not in clinic, Sarah enjoys going to the gym and has recently taken up running. She loves to spend time going on long walks with her family.
